Mobilizing the Community with the Hand of Compassion and the Message of Hope!

What Is The Hope4Philly

Hope4Philly is a nonprofit organization which consists of a network of organizations, churches, and community services across the greater Philadelphia area focused on bring hope and healing to the at-risk families and communities in our region. This is accomplished through outreach events.

At each outreach site there will be resources provided that offer a hand up, not just a hand out. Included will be bags of groceries, health services, haircuts, a Kids Zone, entertainment and a prayer tent. Other possibilities include housing and job resources.

Who Is Partnering

Churches, organizations, community and business leaders from all over the Philadelphia region are partnering together to make a difference. This is an interdenominational effort to meet the practical and spiritual needs of Philadelphia.

A key partner is the Convoy of Hope, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that mobilizes, resources, and trains churches and other groups to conduct community outreaches, respond to disasters, and direct other compassion initiatives in the United States and around the world.

When is this Happening

The multi-site event is happening on Saturday, September 17th, 2011. Leading up to this event, there will be many opportunities to get involved.
